With the crushing lead single »Shithouse Rat« and four more truly standout shredders, the band stakes out thoughtful and intentional territory in contemporary alt-rock. At once reverent to the old gods of shoegaze and aware of modern post-rock and emo contexts for loud, distorted guitars, »Blue Behind Heaven« answers the calls for fresh sounds and new approaches without losing the spiritual core of what makes guitar-driven sound a powerful communicator for feelings and ideas both subtle or direct.

No Culture is a four-piece North Alabama based shoegaze band that blends elements of traditional shoegaze, dream pop, post-grunge, doom, and other sub-genres to create a unique auditory experience. While every song is unique in structure and atmosphere, they continually make use of layering and varying effects to achieve the quintessential wall of sound element that is present within the shoegaze genre.
