Munich, Germany based stoner/doom metal band Grand Massive premiere new music video for a cover of Metallica classic »Jump In The Fire« taken from their latest EP, »Houses Of The Unholy«, out May 23rd, 2024 via MDD Records on CD and digital.

Vinyl version of »Houses Of The Unholy« will be available on September 3rd, 2025 via MDD Records, Doc Gator Records, Metalizer Records, Enorm Music, Daredevil Records and Violent Creek Records.

Grand Massive from Germany have been on the road since 2009 and have amassed a steadily growing fan base with four albums, several singles, and EPs – and maintained this fan base through massive live performances. With »Houses Of The Unholy«, the Bavarians have released five songs that, at just under 28 minutes, are almost album-length, yet still mark an exceptional release in the band’s history.

Originally conceived as a way to bridge the wait for the next full-length album, »Houses Of The Unholy« evolved into something far more powerful – a beast of its own. To underscore this unique character, several longtime collaborators were brought back on board: Original drummer Holger Stich took over the drums, while Randy M Salo, a longtime friend of the band, played bass. Of particular note is the contribution of none other than Bay Area legend Doug Piercy (Blind Illusion, ex-Heathen, ex-Anvil Bitch), who contributed nearly all of the guitar solos.

The album was mastered by Andy Classen at Stage One Studio. As a special highlight, the record also features a doomy and powerful interpretation of the Metallica classic »Jump In The Fire«.

Now this heavy sonic power is being released on vinyl for the first time – made possible by the combined power of six independent labels that stand behind the spirit of the underground: MDD Records, Doc Gator Records, Metalizer Records, Enorm Music, Daredevil Records and Violent Creek Records.

»Houses Of The Unholy« is far more than just a filler – it is a tremendous demonstration of unstoppable, elemental power.
