Smiling Man, a Swedish post grunge and alternative rock band, will release the single »Divergent« on September 19, 2025.

Smiling Man combine raw energy with dark, atmospheric elements, drawing from nineties grunge and modern alternative rock to build a dynamic sound where deep riffs meet acoustic, soft ballads. »Divergent« distils that approach into a direct, guitar led cut. It lands with the punch of grunge and the drive of rock and roll, centring on breaking chains, pushing through struggle and finding your own way when everything else falls apart. The performance keeps emotion upfront, heavy riffs and torn up vocals carrying the song without polish or filter.
