The powerful singer masters her craft like no other and develops a deep affinity for authentic bluesy modern rock and soul – rocking, danceable, unmistakable, and captivating from the very first note. It makes you wonder why she remained undiscovered for so long.

Velvet Rush take us back to the early days of rock music, delivering pure rock ‘n’ roll, gritty hard rock with rootsy vintage classic rock, psychedelic rock, mixed with a hefty dose of soulful sex appeal and unforgettable vocal hooks that leave audiences breathless. From the very first minute, their energy ignites the crowd, turning every venue into a grooving, rocking party. With their unique sound and the incredible frontwoman Sandra Lian, who not only impresses with her voluminous, rebellious, and untamed rock voice but also with her powerful stage presence, they capture the attention of fans and critics alike.

Dennis Henning on guitar, Tim Black on bass, and Tom Zeschke on drums – all seasoned musicians – lay down a 70s orange-blazed carpet for their rock diva Sandra Lian, who has already driven many wild with her performances. Their chemistry on stage is unmistakable, making every show an unforgettable pure rock ‘n’ roll experience.

The quartet writes incomparable and unforgettable songs that pay homage to the pioneers of the genre while sticking to what they do best: electrifying, captivating, and technically flawless rock! This Hamburg-based band sounds like a forgotten but thrilling 70s hard rock band without ever getting boring. Harder bluesy rock blended with retro vibes – all wrapped in a modern sound.

All songs were recorded at the legendary Chameleon Studios in Hamburg under the guidance of the renowned and successful producer Eike Freese (credits include Deep Purple, Simple Minds, Slash from Guns N’ Roses, Status Quo, and more).

The result is music with catchy melodies, powerful rock guitars, and the dirty, strong rock voice of the singer – all coming across as catchy, original, masterfully playful, incredibly lively, and relaxed. And it can’t be said enough: Sandra Lian’s incredible voice perfects the whole package!

The message of Velvet Rush is clear: look forward, not back, ignite the fire in their blood, and bring it to the stage. They have bite, willpower, and passion for music deep in their bones. Given their sound, one might think Velvet Rush is a band out of time. Far from it! On the contrary: stay tuned, because this is just the beginning of an exciting journey!

With their debut single, Velvet Rush immediately achieved international success: »Euphonia« was named “Best Rock Song of the Week” in October 2024 by Classic Rock Magazine UK.

In 2025, Velvet Rush played as support for Jerry Cantrell (Alice In Chains), impressing audiences with their live power. At the Rockharz Festival 2025, they thrilled thousands of fans with their electrifying performance.

In August 2025, Velvet Rush released their latest single »Trail Of Gold« – the title track of their eagerly awaited debut album of the same name, set to drop in fall 2025. Following the release, they will embark on a major European tour in September and October 2025, sharing the stage with Icelandic band The Vintage Caravan.

This is just the beginning.
