Austrian epic death doom masters Endonomos return with a special new release titled »Winter Days«, a digital only EP that showcases the band’s unique ability to reinterpret iconic songs through their dark, emotional and monumental sonic vision. The EP is now available exclusively on all major digital platforms.

Following the success of their acclaimed album »Endonomos II – Enlightenment« released via Argonauta Records, Endonomos take a different but equally evocative path with »Winter Days«, offering two carefully selected cover versions that reflect the band’s deep musical roots and broad artistic sensibility.

The EP features a powerful rendition of »Black Winter Day« originally by Finnish legends Amorphis, transformed into a massive and atmospheric doom manifest, as well as a surprising and deeply emotional reinterpretation of »Winter« by Tori Amos, reshaped into a haunting and introspective journey through Endonomos’ signature soundscape.

With »Winter Days«, the band bridges the worlds of doom metal and alternative songwriting, highlighting their ability to preserve the soul of the original compositions while injecting them with crushing heaviness, cinematic tension and melancholic depth. The result is an EP that feels both familiar and entirely new, expanding the creative boundaries of the project.

Endonomos is formed by Austrian multi instrumentalist and producer Lukas Haidinger on vocals and bass, alongside Christoph Steinlechner and Philipp Forster on guitars, with Marius Segl on drums. Known for their blend of epic doom, death doom weight and emotional storytelling, the band draw influence from acts such as Ahab, Evoken, Candlemass, My Dying Bride, Mournful Congregation, Swallow The Sun, Paradise Lost and Katatonia.

»Winter Days« serves as both a tribute and a statement of identity, capturing the cold, reflective atmosphere suggested by its title and channeling it through Endonomos’ dense, immersive sound.
