Gothenburg experimental rock collective Synvilla return with their new single »Milky Breath« on August 12th and announce their forthcoming EP »Grindmother«.

Dark, hypnotic and instinct-driven, »Milky Breath« dissolves control and pulls the listener into something more primal – a state where the body leads and the mind follows. Built around immersive psychedelic intensity and feral energy, the track sheds social masks in favour of something raw, physical and unfiltered.

Fuelled by defiance and resistance, »Milky Breath« moves through heavy psychedelic textures, post-punk urgency and experimental noise, balancing tension and collapse with a sound that feels guided more by instinct than structure. Synvilla close the track in a ritualistic act of release – letting go rather than holding on.

Based in Gothenburg, Synvilla exist as a multidisciplinary project where music and video art merge into something both seductive and threatening. Rooted in heavy experimental rock, the band refuse conventional structures: riffs drag and distort, rhythms twist and buckle, while warped melodies emerge through a haze of playful menace and controlled chaos.

Their visual world extends naturally from the music itself. Projections and moving images unfold like fragments of an occult ritual – bodily, repetitive and disorientating – transforming live performances into immersive experiences where sound and image continuously consume one another.

With two albums already behind them, Synvilla continue to expand their cinematic presence within the Nordic underground. Their latest release Feberfoster, released on February 28th, was celebrated with a sold-out release show at Skeppet GBG.

Having shared stages with Hällas, Skraeckoedlan and MaidaVale, and performed at festivals including Fuzztival, Muskelrock and Sonic Ritual, Synvilla continue carving out a vivid and unsettling identity at the intersection of psychedelia, post-punk and experimental rock.
