Electric Capivara are a Brazilian instrumental rock band, created in 2022 with influences of heavy metal, stoner rock and Brazilian rhythms. Their aesthetic is humorous, psychedelic and politically engaged.

Singles released:

1st »Riddle Of The Capybara Sphinx«: A humorous song that plays with oriental sounds and heavy rock. It is the lost connection between the Brazil of capybaras and ancient Egypt.

2nd »Alien Musk«: It is a politically engaged satire of one of the most influential personalities of today, Elon Musk. The music is heavy and enters a psychedelic and atmospheric mood.

3rd »Baião Of Vacillation«: It is a great tribute to Brazilians, masters in the art of doing stupid things.

Album »BPC«:

On November 11th, our first album was released, which we named »BPC«. With the exception of the song »Lost In My Perception«, the entire album was recorded live in the studio, on 06/16/22.

The album is a social critique. »BPC« is the name of a social benefit that the Brazilian government pays (or should pay) for poor people. The title track is divided into 3 parts, representing the agony of those who need and depend on this benefit.

The mood of the album is at times heavy, at times psychedelic and atmospheric. High doses of humor are also present.
