Heavy and fragile, chaotic and controlled: »First Summer« is the debut album by We As A Company. It blends doom, stoner, and noise with melody and structure, all held together by a thin thread of tension and urgency. The sound is in constant motion – saturated riffs, electric ballads, lo-fi acoustic confessions – never standing still.
»First Summer« tells the story of an imaginary season of freedom – one suspended between what hasn’t happened yet and a present that feels all-encompassing. It captures a sense of naivety, but above all, authenticity. Each track is a fragment of this narrative, an emotional and stylistic exploration that never stays still.

At the heart of the project lies a simple yet radical belief: songs still matter. As the philosopher Manlio Sgalambro once wrote, “it seems that all the poetry still possible in our time is concentrated in the song.” And it’s from this awareness that We As A Company builds their sound.
MiaCameretta Records will release »First Summer« on CD and digital on July 4th, 2025. Find preorders at Bandcamp: weasacompany.bandcamp.com/album/first-summer-2

Biography:
We As A Company is an Italian band that puts sound at the core of its creative vision. Born in a small provincial town – far from the spotlight but rich in sonic tension – V. (vocals, guitar, synth), F. (drums), and D. (bass) built an independent, ever-evolving studio on the outskirts of the music scene. There, as an open and fluid collective, they shape a personal language: layered, emotional, raw, and deliberately imperfect.
