With their new single »Violate«, Sum Of R once again dive deep into the realms of ritualistic psychedelia, experimental doom and krautrock alchemy. The track unfolds as a sonic rite, exploring themes of vulnerability, rejection and the desecration of the ego. Each transgression becomes its own passage within the composition, translating raw emotion into immersive structures and atmospheres that speak beyond words.

The accompanying video continues the storyline introduced in »Solace«: a lone protagonist wandering through the corridors of an abandoned hotel, facing the shadows of his own fears. »Violate« is more than a song – it is a confrontation, a catharsis, and a testament to the transformative power of sound.

Formed by Swiss sound-shaper Reto Mäder and completed by Finnish visionaries Marko Neuman and Jukka Rämänen, Sum Of R channel cosmic vibrations more than genre – summoning music that feels unearthed rather than written. »Spectral« is the sound of a séance captured on tape: raw yet spacious, disciplined yet dreamlike.
