All We Leave Behind is a metal band from Grenoble, France, active since 2018. Their sound merges doom, goth and death metal elements, shaped by the influence of classic acts such as Black Sabbath, Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride, Type O Negative and Candlemass. Over the years the band has developed a dark and atmospheric identity supported by thoughtful songwriting and a strong conceptual approach.
The group was founded by guitarist and vocalist POG alongside drummer Olaf. Soon after, the lineup was strengthened by the arrival of guitarist Hell D. In 2021 the band welcomed bassist S.CRUMB, a respected figure within the local scene, whose technical approach further defined the low end. To expand the melodic textures of the music, Tony initially joined on keyboards, later taking over drums in 2022 following Olaf’s departure. This transition helped refine the internal balance of the band and gave their arrangements greater depth.
Lyrically, All We Leave Behind explore themes related to ecology, religion, social decline and the fragility of the human condition. Their compositions feature slow and heavy riffs, expressive piano passages and rhythmic structures that shift between tension and release. The result evokes a sense of introspection, emotional weight and dramatic contrast.
On stage, the band aims to create an immersive environment through dense atmospheres and a focused performance style. The visual and musical aspects work together to draw the audience into a space where despair, beauty and reflection coexist.
With a clear artistic purpose and a growing presence in the underground landscape, All We Leave Behind continue to evolve while remaining committed to their vision. Their music stands as a statement of honesty and creative intent, inviting listeners to confront darkness and meaning through sound.
