Sludge, blues doom from Fayetteville, Arkansas. Birthed in 2006, reformed in 2023. Featuring current members of Mud Lung & Liquid Courage and former members of Deadbird, Deadeyejack & Sinking South.

Dirtmother announced their 2025 self-titled debut LP! 8 songs, and roughly 45 minutes of down tuned, riff worship. Primal, massive, personal.

“A vicious reminder of the nasty turn Southern heavy took right around the turn of the century, when the lessons of Eyehategod, or Buzzov*en, Grief and so on, seemed to be taken up by screamy riffers with harsh intent and more aggressive underpinnings of metal emerged alongside the punker roots of the genre.” — The Obelisk

“This is an absolutely outstanding slice of blackened doom/sludge metal heaviness you should add to your collection now.” — Steve Howe, Outlaws Of The Sun
