Gastonia, North Carolina based psychedelic space sludge trio Beyond The Portal premiere their new single »Origins Of Man« feat. Celeste King (Stormwatchers), released on October 4th, 2024.

Beyond The Portal is a 3 piece psychedelic space sludge metal band from Gastonia, North Carolina. BTP was started as a side project by guitarist/harsh vocalist and Rig of Doom purveyor “EvilTheWes” McCumbee of EvilLeaf. Joined by vocalist and guitarist Vaughn Hughes of Digital Dolls. Rounding out the trio is the always steady Robert Burkett on drums. Focusing on such topics as the vastness of space, aliens and connections to humanity’s origins, outer space and interstellar travel. Beyond The Portal fuses psychedelic and spacey lead guitars with down tuned Heavy crushing guitar riffs. Adorned by tribal like drums and wailing to demonic vocals to form our musical identity!
