“Instrumentally there’s more crisp, wild, and meandering psych riffs strewn throughout the album than you can shake a stick at. Along with this are plenty of blues influenced elements, which add a moodiness and a certain level of swagger to the mix. Then of course you have your more fuzz laden, downtuned doom elements that make up a large portion of the album. The level of effect usage and distortion applied to the guitar and bass elements on the album is honestly astounding and yet it feels so natural, as if this is how music is supposed to sound.” — James Sweetlove, Cave Dweller Music
“»Mother Of Doom« is quite fantastical with its sense of creativity that Jihef Garnero uses and delivers with this album. This allows »Mother Of Doom« to be in a league of its own. Excellent and highly recommended.” — Steve Howe, Outlaws Of The Sun
“Ultra Void’s debut EP »Ultra Void« was anything but straightforward, it was an album that defied genre classification, its music employed elements of doom, sludge and and other metals but then would confuse matters by throwing into the mix funk, blues and even some shock rock type theatrical colouration, it was a twisted and contorted take on metal that once heard could not be forgotten. Those that invested time and money on “Ultra Void” will be pleased to know that new album »Mother Of Doom« retains much of the essence of that first album except under Garnero’s sole stewardship those twists seem much more twisted, those contortions a touch more contorted. Check it out…..” — Frazer Jones, Desert Psychlist
