Select All is an underground grunge four-piece hailing from Melbourne, Australia. The band undercuts their noisy, gritty guitar tones, surrealist lyrics and angsty attitudes with enough pop melodicism to create a sound unlike anything average listeners have heard before. They are determined to bring alternative grunge back above the surface with their newest single »Paraphernalia«.

Following the release of their most popular single »Don’t Cry Over Spilt Milk« was bound to be hard, but Select All’s »Paraphernalia« has lived up to the challenge. Fusing together elements of hard rock, grunge, shoegaze and nu metal, »Paraphernalia« encapsulates all emotions and sends the listener on a wild ride. The loud and eerie guitar tones recorded by Olivia Bovolato are backed with an unstoppable driving force from Tayla Basso on the bass. While the unearthly vocals and dark lyrics by Karina Walsh provide a moody atmosphere of despair and pain, Emma Papa’s intricate drumming complicates the mood and provides a groovy back-beat.

Hailing from the underground grunge scene, Select All is an unapologetic four-piece band formed in Melbourne, Australia. Their music fuses old-school grunge grit with modern shoegaze tones, with their unrivalled energy and stage-presence setting them apart from the rest. Formed by drummer Emma Papa and vocalist Karina Walsh in 2019, the two best friends set out on a mission to take over the Australian music scene with their Deftones and Silverchair-influenced sound. They have since joined forces with bassist Tayla Basso and guitarist Liz Hernyak and the band has grown to demand a significant presence within the Melbourne music scene.
