Sydney, Australia based psychedelic doom/stoner rockers Iron Blanket have released new single and music video »Evil Mind«.

Sydney riff wizards Iron Blanket formed in 2020. Born out of the huge weed haze that was the first lockdown. Initially the five piece bonded over a love of seventies rock music. Drawing influence from the heavy licks of Black Sabbath and Pentagram across to the psychedelic exploration of Hawkwind and Pink Floyd but as the jams got heavier and the fuzz pedals got weird thick and dirty nineties inspired riffs started to appear.

»Evil Mind« evokes swinging tempo and swager of 70s rock songs along with a beefy fuzzed 90s inspired sound. The lyrics paint a picture of someone selling their soul to the devil and giving in to their darkest impulses of pleasure and hedonism. This distinctive and layered sound has quickly given Iron Blanket the reputation as one of Sydney’s best stoner/psych bands.
