Greek alternative/grunge/stoner rock band Blind Sun presents their debut album, »Under Them Stones«, which was released on January 16th, 2022.

Says the band: “We proudly present our first full album release »Under Them Stones«. The album was recorded in summer 2020 in Made In Hell Studio, and the artwork is made by Manster Design. It is available via all major online music outlets. We would love to hear from all of you, which one is your favourite track and we hope you enjoy listening to the album as much as we enjoyed making it! More is yet to come!”

Blind Sun is a rock band based in Athens, Greece.

They started back in 2016 as Once In A Wild with Marios Kassianos (vocals, guitar), Kostas Kotsiras (vocals, bass) and Angelos Psilas (drums). The following year with the addition of Nick Tountas on bass guitar, Kostas took the rhythm guitar position in the band. After a long search for a singer, the position was filled by Xanthippie Papadopoulou in 2018 and the band changed its name to Supersonic Fox. They performed live with this name until they changed it to Blind Sun, not long after finishing recording of their first full-length album at Made In Hell Studios in Athens in 2020. Recently and with the addition of Antonis Aspropoulos behind the drums, they continue to rehearse new material and prepare for more live gigs and new recordings.

Their first album was released on all major streaming and downloading platforms, on 16 of January 2022, with the title »Under Them Stones« with 8 tracks and duration of 44 minutes and 17 seconds. A vinyl and CD version is on the planning.

“We began our music journey a few years ago, trying to blend our wide range of influences from blues to metal, from grunge to psychedelic rock. From Black Sabbath to Pink Floyd, from Soundgarden to Tool. This journey has only just begun.”
