Brazilian acid rock/psychedelic collective Os Rarefeitos has released their brand new single »Eremita«.

Os Rarefeitos is a Brazilian rock/blues/psychedelic band whose sound is influenced by classic rock bands from the 60s and 70s, combining elements from styles such as progressive, blues, rockabilly, hard rock, psychedelic, folk, funk, and Brazilian music. The sextet was formed in January 2017, and their lyrics explore psychedelic experiences, bohemianism, fun, madness, and disillusionments.

The Rarefeitos have released 5 singles: »Noite de Rock n’ Roll« [Rock and Roll Night] (2021), »Canção dos Poetas Loucos« [Mad Poets Song] (2023), »Liberdade« [Freedom] (2023), »Diabo do Blues« [Devil Blues] (2024), and »Eremita« [Hermit] (2024). Currently, the band is focused on producing their first album titled »Sintéticos e Naturais« [Synthetics and Naturals].

The name “Os Rarefeitos” alludes to the rare effects experienced by humans, according to their kinesthetic and sensory experiences.
