Abismia is a Brazilian metal band from Recife, Pernambuco, formed in 2019. Amidst a dark, heavy atmosphere, its introspective fury unfolds as a descent into the deepest waters of the self and existence. Drawing from a broad spectrum of influences, including proto-metal, blues, and atmospheric music, Abismia forges a dense, bleak, and visceral sound bearing the weight of doom and the rawness of sludge, yet bound by neither.
