Shield Of Snakes has officially released their fourth full-length album, »When I Sleep«, now available on all major streaming platforms.
The record marks a natural evolution from their previous release, »Staring Into The Abyss«. Written primarily by Sean and Noel, with powerful contributions from Bob and Noel’s lyrical direction, »When I Sleep« explores themes rooted in nature – space, time, sun, moon, oceans, mountains – while expanding the band’s melodic range and dynamic storytelling.
The album showcases Shield Of Snakes at a defining point in their journey. Since Bob’s arrival, the guitar work has opened new terrain, adding depth without losing the band’s commitment to organic, no-frills rock. No politics, no gimmicks – just strong compositions, big choruses, expressive solos, and the raw energy of musicians who grew up immersed in the classic heavy metal lineage of Maiden, Priest, Ozzy, and beyond.
