Limache, Chile based doom metal band Daam has just released their debut EP »Distorted Faces« independently on July 12th, 2024.

The band commented: “Our EP is already premiering on YouTube and will soon be on all digital platforms.

We want to thank Rompiendo Bocinas Estudio who supported us with the recording of the drums. To the tremendous Fabián Valdés Rodríguez who mixed our EP and our friend Nelson Arzola who mastered this work. Also to our friends who supported us from the beginning with this project, Daniel Perez Saa & Marcos Contreras Sanhueza. Cheers!”

Daam is a doom metal band from Limache, Chile, formed in 2022. With the interest of creating new material in parallel with other musical projects (such as King Heavy, Blackflow, Mourners Lament, Mortajas, Marchafunebre, The Ancient Doom, Viejos Mutantes, La Fiura), at the end of 2021, Víctor and Val begin the work of composing some songs, with this material they begin the search for musicians who were interested in the musical line of the band. In this way, in 2022, Arturo joins on drums and Pía on bass. With the complete lineup, regular rehearsals begin.

In March 2023 they make their live debut at Chamans Fest III where »Fuego Fatuo« is recorded on video and audio, a song that is part of the Chamanes Fest III compilation album. The band just released their debut EP »Distorted Faces« on July 12th, 2024.
