Tungsind is a Danish black/doom metal band based in Copenhagen. They are considered an experimental project that combines elements of slow, dragging drone doom, dark black metal riffs, crust, and chaotic intensity in their musical expression. Their name means “melancholy” or “gloom” in Danish, which directly reflects their musical atmosphere, imbued with themes of anxiety, unrest, and sadness.
Their debut EP titled »The Unlearning Of The Self« was self-released in digital format on August 21, 2026, while the cassette is issued by the label Virkelighedsfjern.
