Doomed Nation

Sounds For The Lost Generation

Doomed Confessionary: Tobias, Harald, Filip & Victor (Huanastone)

Formed in 2012, Huanastone from Malmö, Sweden has been working to create music that’ll move both body and mind. A common goal to create riff-driven songs in combination with atmospheric relatable melodies led Huanastone to draw inspiration from bands such as Black Sabbath, Kyuss, Soundgarden and Alice In Chains.

The band’s third full-length album »Son Of Juno« was released on May 24th, 2024, available now on all major streaming platforms.

Huanastone are Tobias Amaru Gonzalez (vocals, guitar), Harald Nordén (lead guitar, vocals), Filip Larsson (bass) and Victor Hansson (drums).

Can you say a few words about your band?
In short, we’re a four piece rock band from Malmö Sweden with a passion for stones/grunge/psychedelic rock. We’ve been playing together for a long time and we take our time writing. We won’t record anything we don’t feel reflect 100% what we want to accomplish.

What was the biggest challenge for the band?
A few years ago some members were not on the same page as the rest of the band which lead to a bit of a break for a few months.

What can you be most proud of so far?
That we came out better on the other side of that challenge.

What was your biggest regret?
we have no regrets, it all happens for a reason.

What was the best concert/tour so far and why?
One of our best concert experiences was when we played WoodRock Festival in Portugal a few years ago. Great crowd and a beautiful trip overall.

What was the biggest surprise on the music scene for you?
That most venues pay artists in “exposure and beer”.

What is currently in your heavy musical rotation?
All Them Witches, Elder, Misfits, Knocked Loose and Soundgarden.

What was the best advice you’ve ever been given as a musician?
If you keep going all the bands around you will stop playing and you’ll be the one left standing. Also… practice.

What are your guilty pleasures?
Being a bit lazy as a band.

Can you say something more about the music scene in Malmö / Sweden?
It has grown a lot and the venues are getting better.

Where can we see you live this year (concerts/tours)?
Due to a lot of personal reasons, we don’t have anything special lined atm. But, we’re looking forward to this fall/winter.

What are your plans for the future as a band?
Keep making music that we would like to listen to ourselves and to make it in our own pace.

How can people best support your band?
The best way to support us would be through huanastone.bandcamp.com.
We don’t have a label behind us this time so the support from the listeners who buy the vinyl och digital copy means the world.

Do you have any message for your listeners?
Patience, we’ll see you on the road eventually. And THANK YOU for sharing and listening to »Son Of Juno«.
