Circle Of 9 was conjured up from the depths of Nebraska when Reaper (former Black Tar Super Star/Iron Serpent drummer) formed a funeral/blackened doom metal supergroup with vocalist Kole Hoagie (former Trench frontman), virtuoso guitarist Gio Perez and monster bassist Daemon Markov.
Circle Of 9 is an occult based topics, with a variety of horror, Lovecraft, and multi-dimensional themes. Influences include Darkthrone, Incantation, Cathedral, Black Sabbath, and Down.
The band’s current plans are going into the studio in January to record their first effort with a spring release on Morgue Rot Records, but will release a first single late winter.
