French post-metal/post-hardcore band Hølls celebrates 1st anniversary of debut album with new music video for »Endless Night«!

Besançon, France based post-metal/post-hardcore quintet Hølls has released new music video for »Endless Night«. This is the third and final video taken from the band’s debut album, »Ill«, out on January 24th, 2025.

Formed in 2023 in Besançon (France), Hølls offers a post-metal sound that plays on nuances, alternating between powerful crescendos and heavier, more atmospheric passages. It all started with guitarist Mickaël Pergaud, who conceived the foundation of the songs before seeking out other musicians. His partner and second guitarist, Geoffrey Martinazzo, helped refine the structures, which were then worked on and modified according to everyone’s preferences. The band found its definitive lineup in October 2023, and after various bassists and drummers, Samuel Dubail and Michaël Guarné ensured the rhythmic stability of the quintet. Present since the project’s inception, Sandra Chatelain and her unique voice lend a distinct identity to all the tracks.

Addressing dark themes related to the devastating human behavior of a segment of humanity, the band nevertheless aims to convey hope through its creative approach and the energy it exudes. Led by a female voice combining clean and distorted vocals, the Besançon-based quintet with marked influences (The Ocean, Amenra, Cult Of Luna) intends to promote its first album »Ill« (released January 24th, 2025) on stage as much as possible.
