Gairo to release their sophomore album »Her« on March 21st via Drown Within Records and Le Officine

Sardinia, Italy based cinematic post-metal band Gairo will release their sophomore album »Her« on March 21st, 2022 via Drown Within Records and Le Officine.

The band comments: “The song »Apogee« is a rather heavy song that marks the beginning of the second part of the disc, we were looking for an explosive sound that would give the idea of a turning/breaking point in the whole work. This song features Davide Boy on guitar who gave us a big helping hand in the creation of this record from day one. The fact that he is now part of the band was a pleasant consequence. We are satisfied with the sound of »Apogee« thanks to Fabio Demontis and we would like to thank him for taking care of the production of this record.”

Gairo is a six piece music project hailing from Sardinia, Italy.

Their music explores the post-metal genre, mostly instrumental, crossing between acoustic moments, progressive rock and a selected usage of vocals. The first self-produced album »Gairo« was released in 2017 and distributed by Coypu Records.

Gairo’s upcoming album »Her« will be out on March 21, 2022 via Drown Within Records and Le Officine.
