The Hamburg psychedelic rock trio Silverships will release their second single »Nevermore« on October 11, 2024 on Tonzonen Records. The song is the second release from the EP »Kingdom Of Decay« to be released on November 22. The track is now available on all streaming services.

»Nevermore« starts as a classic stoner rock song. Rhythm guitars and bass in unison push a simple, effective riff over a heavy, rolling beat. The chorus excites with strong contrasts: On the one hand the hymnic melody, on the other an apocalyptically aggressive drum beat. The lyrics deal with the demon that is fear, who is dealt an initially marching, then explosive exorcism. The outro brings the song to an epic conclusion that resonates and reverberates for a long time.

The song was recorded at Studio Altona by Hamburg-based sound engineer Hauke Albrecht, producer of e.g. Mountain Witch and Captain Planet, live mixer for e.g. Turbostaat and Tocotronic. Mastering was done by Fabian Tormin at Plätlin Mastering, known for his work for e.g. Biffy Clyro, The Kills and Die Nerven.

On December 11, 2024, Silverships will perform at Hamburg’s Markthalle with Giant Crow, celebrating their debut EP and Giant Crow’s debut album release.
