Bog Art is an eclectic and ever evolving quartet, experimenting openly in different directions, writing and recording their songs of love, hate and everything that is hidden between the lines.

…as everything around them began to collapse threatening
to crush them, they seemed to no longer care much about
anything at all. Closing their eyes, they focused on the sound
drifting towards them, while one by one old promises were
breaking and their fragments collided with each other and
crashed into everything that still stood standing or was
about to fall. Smiling as if they were listening to the sweetest
music, they leaned on each other and began to move their
bodies in a dance of broken promises, sliding through the
rubble and silently agreeing that every great catastrophe
can be a brilliant opportunity for a new beginning…

»The Dance Of Broken Promises« is the fourth album of a band from Athens, Greece, that began 23 years ago and, at the same time, a kind of reboot.

Mixing various genres of rock with holler blues and jazz, Bog Art return dynamically and with »The Dance Of Broken Promises« they create the right conditions for people to sway gently, to move strongly, to slide between the glaring contradictions that surround them and, after facing every fear one by one, to try and find their own way to move forward, even when (or precisely because) everything seems to be falling apart.

With Yiannis Anagnostatos (Lolek) production offering new dimensions to the trio’s sound and paving the way towards different musical directions, Bog Art invite listeners to a dance in the twilight, focusing on charmingly dark stories about love, hate, life, death and everything that lies between them.
