Heavy psychedelic rockers Miscellen release the lead track »Writhe« taken from their new forthcoming album

International heavy psychedelic rock band Miscellen has released their new single »Writhe« on August 26th, 2023.

»Writhe« is the lead track taken from their new forthcoming album »Contrablonde«, set to release in fall 2023.

Says the band: “Are you ready for another album this year? We’ll be dropping a new album this fall so enjoy this new single for Miscellen Day!”

Heavy alternative rock from Washington DC and Bristol UK, slathered in psychedelia and noir, with thick bass grooves, wailing guitars, and disreputable segues.

On their unrelenting 5th album (the 2nd in 2023), Miscellen thrusts searing compositions into the kiln and hammers out translucent rock for an opaque world.

As the inexorable march of technology outpaces the boundaries of human ethics and fresh wounds are cut into old scars, a pervasive unease takes root in the collective consciousness. Entangled in a web of dehumanizing algorithms and disinformation where the contours of reality are eroded, we witness a society divided and disoriented.

»Contrablonde« is Miscellen’s visceral response – a primal shiver that resonates from a hard-hitting, psychedelic rock soundscape and summons listeners down a path of authentic self-expression, even when those journeys are unexpected, uncomfortable, or unsanctioned.
