The Royal Freak Out is a four-piece rock band from Budapest, playing progressive stoner rock with melodic solos and energetic live performances.

The band originally formed in London in 2012 and released their first EP »Failure Is An Option«, then after a couple of years break the reformed the band in Hungary and released »Full Circle« EP in 2015. Since then they’ve been playing around Hungary and had a tour in Austria-Germany. They won a few Hungarian music competition, had successful club and festival gigs, also played with bands like Karma To Burn (USA), the Final Stair (D) or Methadone Skies (RO).

2018 is the year of the sexy first full-length album »A Step Beyond The Fading Line« followed by the album tour at the end of the year. Their second album »Emergence« dropped on February 21, 2022.
