Raynar emerged onto the scene waving the flag of stoner rock and heavy metal. The band hails from the small town of Purwodadi, Grobogan, Central Java, and was formed in 2024. Despite the different musical influences of each member, they share the same determination to shape Raynar’s future direction. Raynar consists of Bintang (vocals), Dhito (guitar), Gilang (guitar), Afone (bass), and Nichol (drums). The name “Raynar” means “strong warrior,” chosen with the hope that the band will become a powerful stoner metal unit that commands respect in the Indonesian music scene.
As their first strike in the early stages of their career, Raynar has released their debut single titled »Menjura«. The word “Menjura” comes from Indonesian and may sound unfamiliar to many; it means to bow and lower both hands as a sign of respect. With »Menjura«, Raynar delivers an aggressive riff-driven work, fiery and passionate vocals, ear-shattering bass, and intensely pounding drums.

The song conveys a message of showing respect to every individual we meet. »Menjura« also invites listeners to remember the struggles and the spirit of togetherness when gathering with friends. All of life’s problems seem to disappear for a while, and all emotions subside when spending time with close companions.
