Italian heavy/epic doom metal band Oblivion Vortex share new lyric video for »Call Of The Void«; debut EP »Into Oblivion« out now!

Turin, Italy based heavy/epic doom metal band Oblivion Vortex has released new lyric video for the track »Call Of The Void« from their debut EP, »Into Oblivion«, out on June 21st, 2024. Video created by Stefano Mastronicola.

Says the band: “Let’s drop the bomb, to welcome the beginninig of the new year in our own way: ladies & gentlemen, for your eyes only, our new lyric video, »Call Of The Void«! Get Oblivious!!”

Oblivion Vortex is a newly formed heavy doom band, featuring musicians with a long experience. The line up is formed by Andrea Marchisio (Highlord, Desdemona, Warnipples) on vocals, Marco Campanati (Extinction) on guitars, Stefano Sofia (Hellbound) on bass, and Claudio Rostagno (Ivory) on drums.

»Into Oblivion« is the first, self-produced release of the band, a 4-tracks EP that fully represents its musical proposal. The tracks display all the features of group, a doom influenced heay metal with epic hints and catchy melodies. The songwriting pays homage to the ’80s and ’90s masterpieces of the genre, yet sounding fresh and original.

»Into Oblivion« EP was recorded, mixed and mastered in January 2024 at Elnor Studio (Cassano Magnago, MI) by Mattia Stancioiu (Labyrinth, Crown Of Autumn, Vision Divine, and many others). Cover artwork and the band’s logo were designed by Stefano Toderico.
