Rome, Italy based post doom metal trio Slugg return with a brand new single »Morningstar«, released on October 16th, 2024.

Says the band: “This track marks a significant evolution in our sound since our 2023 album »Orichalcum«. »Morningstar« is a deeper expression of who we are as a band, representing a more direct and recognizable sound, contaminated by death and blackgaze atmospheres, while still firmly rooted in the post-metal genre. This song reflects a new clarity in our creative process and a strongest sense of consistency in our vision.

With »Morningstar«, we’ve honed in on what we want from our music, a prelude to the new album we’re currently working on.”
