Ravenna, Italy based stoner/doom metal trio Murena premiere their new demo track »Crabzilla«.

“A doom metal trio from the prehistoric oceans, lurking in the depths…”

Three musicians from the Ravenna area, passionate about metal, video games, role-playing games and board games, formed a band called Murena: Ray on drums, Eric on bass, and Matt on guitar. Mixing psychedelic solos with the raw and dark sounds of doom and stoner metal, and drawing inspiration primarily from bands like Electric Wizard, Black Sabbath, Sleep, and Kyuss, they create instrumental tracks inspired by themes such as prehistoric beasts, sea lizards, giant squids, Lovecraftian cosmic horrors, and classic sci-fi and horror/weird tales.
