Mississippi Bones is a two-piece band from Ohio. They’ve been making records since 2010 and have somehow made it to album number eight. »Maladroit Blues For The Colorblind« arrives September 8, 2026.

Nestled in the flatlands of Hardin County, Ohio, Mississippi Bones has been pummeling the world with fat slabs o’ rock for more than 15 years. Blending stoner rock, blues, grunge, and heavy riff worship with strange stories and the wonderfully bizarre, the Bones have independently released seven full-length albums plus numerous singles and EPs.

Some things belong in museums. Others belong turned all the way up. »Maladroit Blues For The Colorblind« is an eleven-song cabinet of curiosities filled with fuzzed-out riffs, crooked blues, unforgettable hooks, and stories of conspiracies, strange people, and forgotten places. Crafted independently from start to finish, it’s Mississippi Bones’ most cohesive collection to date. Strange songs for strange people.
