Bergen, Norway based hard rock band Masheena share a lyric video for the second single »Sara Lost Her Way« taken from their sophomore full-length album, »Let The Spiders In«, set to release on April 10th, 2026 via Ripple Music and Majestic Mountain Records.

»Sara Lost Her Way« is second single from Masheena’s upcoming album »Let The Spiders In«. More than telling a story about Sara, both the music and lyrics are conveing a feeling or state of mind of unrest and uncertainty, yet not without hope. Musically it’s based on a strong vocal performance, melodic constraint and a subtle rythmic texture, with nods to both 90’s alternative rock and southern guitar harmonies.

Following the critically acclaimed debut »West Coast Hard Rock«, the band’s second album is set to be co-released by the two hard hitting labels Ripple Music (US) and Majestic Mountain Records (SE), in April 2026.

The recording sessions for »Let The Spiders In« took place in the outskirts of Austin, bordering on the desert landscape of Texas. The band absorbed the eclectic surroundings and created the inspired, slide fuelled heavy anthem Been Waiting, with good help from renowned producer Machine (Clutch, Lamb Of God, King Crimson).

Moving images are taken from the movie »Voyage To The Planet Of Prehistoric Women«, a movie that as far that we can tell is a part of the public domain.

Masheena exists for two reasons: To make songs that stick – songs that people take with them from concerts, put on their playlists, and use as soundtracks for both everyday life and parties. And: To have fun in the process!

With solid experience from everything from heavy metal, rock’n’roll and pop, combined with a strong foundation in half a century of hard rock history, the band makes songs that place themselves somewhere between stoner rock, grunge and classic hard rock.

The hard-hitting quartet’s debut album »West Coast Hard Rock« was recorded in one of Bergen’s alleys in 2023 and evokes associations with everything from obscure heroes like Spirit and Montrose to giants like Soundgarden, Kiss, Clutch and Monster Magnet.

The following year, the trip went from narrow alleys to Austin, Texas to record the sequel with producer Machine. The album »Let The Spiders In« will be released in April 2026. Rumor has it that the album is both heavier, more varied – and more melodic – than the debut.

During the band’s relatively short lifespan, they have managed to garner acclaim from club scenes in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany and Sweden as well as all over Norway.
