Patriarchs In Black feat. Dan Lorenzo & John Kelly announce the second album »My Veneration« on MDD Records and release an album teaser!

Patriarchs In Black have released a teaser for their second album, »My Veneration«, due out on October 6th, 2023 via MDD Records.

Featuring guitarist Dan Lorenzo (ex-Non Fiction, Hades, Cassius King, Vessel Of Light) & drummer John Kelly (ex-Type O Negative, ex-Danzig, Silvertomb, Quiet Riot).

Patriarchs In Black, the project formed by Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative/Quiet Riot) and Dan Lorenzo (Hades/Non-Fiction), have just put the finishing touches on their 2nd album »My Veneration«. As with the Patriarchs In Black debut, »Reach For The Scars«, Kelly and Lorenzo are joined by multiple singers and bassists.

Karl Agell (Corrosion Of Conformity Blind/Lie Heavy) is back as is Rob Traynor from Black Water Rising. Mark Sunshine (Riotgod/Unida) sings along with hip-hop legend Darryl DMC from RUN/DMC on the track Veneration. There’s also appearances from John “JD” DeServio (Black Label Society), Dave Neabore (Dog Eat Dog), Johnny Araya (yes, Tom’s brother) plus a cover of Kiss’ »I Stole Your Love« featuring Johnny Kelly’s brother Danny Kelly and many more guests including the projects first use of violin and keyboards.

Every single song unfolds its very special, individual charm, and yet Lorenzo/Kelly manage to make the album sound like a unified whole. Entertaining, varied and with an unbelievable love of rock’n’roll – including a Kiss and a Black Sabbath cover version, which could not have been more aptly chosen as musical cornerstones.
