About Wodorost:
Wodorost (lit. seaweed), an instrumental trio hailing from Warsaw, Poland, crafts a unique meditative sonic journey by blending desert rock with post-rock influences. Their music evokes the sensation of “flying through the desert at night”, while painting vivid soundscapes that captivate the imagination. The name Wodorost isn’t accidental. We noticed that our sound is “aquatic”, organic. However, we try to make our music burn. Although we play mainly instrumental, we aren’t closed conceptually, we are not afraid to include vocals – say the musicians. Their self-proclaimed genre, underwater desert rock, captures the essence of their musical fusion. The trio has just released their latest single titled »Temple«, serving as an announcement for their upcoming album »From The Depths«, a concept work symbolizing a resurfacing from the abyss, a metaphorical journey through inner exploration and recovery from depression.

“Wodorost delivers a robust and very textured album full of blissful stoner and euphoric post-rock. Wodorost can be so cathartic at times then slowly build up with heavy mammoth fuzz. For a new band, Wodorost displays amazing chemistry, as the music flows beautifully through your veins.” – Rotation11
