Polish prog/psych rockers Ignu bring us closer to the stars with their brand new single »Sprawled In Time«!

Warsaw, Poland based prog/psych rockers Ignu have released the second single »Sprawled In Time« taken from their upcoming concept album, titled »Unity III«, set to release in April 2023.

A tale of cosmic travel through space and time. Ignu’s second single brings us closer to the stars.

Ignu’s psychonauts from Warsaw unveil their next work. The trio has released their second song »Sprawled In Time« available on all platforms. The song forecasts an upcoming new album »Unity III« due out this spring.

A mad flight through the unknown. Gliding through meadows of light. Psychedelic Ignu presents the second composition from their third album. »Sprawled In Time« is a continuation of the story begun, with the first, well-received single »Orison To Light / Ascension«. »Unity III« will be a cosmic concept album taking you on a journey through the corners of space and consciousness. The nearly hour-long album is scheduled for release in mid-April 2023. The release is the opening of a new chapter in the band’s history.

The second composition from the album tells the story of all the dilemmas but also the excitement accompanying the undiscovered. Our hero flying on the ship »Unity III« throws himself into the vortex of new experiences. He is drawn into chaos, there is a black hole on the horizon. »Sprawled In Time« is the first conscious experience of the eternal universe and learning about the relativity of time. – In the first single we talked about our hero’s disconnection from wars, pandemics, black mirrors, divisions and hatred – the artists emphasize.

»Sprawled In Time« is enhanced with fractal visuals/lyric video. The second part of the new single is also available on streaming services. The composition, titled Should this song last a little longer? is an eight-minute trip improvisation, where Jan Szegda’s guitar plays first fiddle.

The publication of further compositions from the album, is accompanied by notes from the log of the »Unity III« spacecraft. Excerpts are presented on the band’s social media and in the description of the videos on YouTube. The band will also provide a live session with performances of the premiere compositions. Grzegorz Mukanowski is responsible for the recording, mixing and mastering. The visual design of the album was created by Adrianna Zielinska.

Smoke, debris and psychedelia mixed with a lot of beauty and dancing. A crazy ride with lots of dynamic changes, catchy melodies and offbeat rhythms. To fully grasp Ignu’s capabilities and vibe, it is best to experience their concert – their performances always deliver and are full of prodigious energy. The band’s first album was released in 2017 »Lightningflash Flintspark« followed by the LP »Auriga« two years later. In 2020/2021 the band published several singles gathering their forces for their next big work. After some changes in the band in 2021 they started to play as a trio: Jan Szegda (vocals, guitars), David Condis y Troyano (vocals, bass and sounds) and Cyryl Skiba (vocals, drums).
