»Universo 25« is the second conceptual full-length album from Mexico City-based band Rostro del Sol. The work blends symphonic progressive rock, jazz rock, blues, heavy psych, and fine improvisation passages, building a sonic narrative inspired by real animal experiments, creating a story called »Universo 25«.

The band was formed in 2018 in CDMX, and in 2021 they gained incredible acceptance worldwide with their debut album. 2 years later, they released the »Blue Storm« EP. Currently consisting of Mitch, Joel, Jorge, Miguel, Cassiel, and Alejandro, the band aims to convey different feelings and sensations to the listener through their rhythms and melodies in »Universo 25«.

The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Rec-On Studio by Jorge Trejo, between 2024 and 2025. Collaborations by Max Mountain, Alain Bravo, and Carlos Greco on »Argonne«.
