Says the band: “We recently released our second 4 song EP titled »Upcoming Bites«. It is a blend of death, groove, and doom metal. We hope you enjoy and follow us for updates about live performances and upcoming releases.”

Protype5 is a heavy trio from Slovenia. The band was founded by Iztok (guitar, vocals) and Gregor (drums) in 2017. The formation of the band was mainly influenced by acts such as High On Fire, Crowbar, Black Sabbath and Pantera. Matjaž joined the group on bass soon and made it possible to finish the music, which desperately needed solid bass lines. The result two years later is the first delf-titled EP, released in December 2019. A change soon followed in the replacement of the bassist, who was replaced by Blaž.
