»Chapter III: Season Of The Spine« directly follows the Slumdweller story from »Chapter II: Winter In The Wastes«.

After emerging from the solitude-filled forest, a lone man finds himself within a foggy, horror-filled world, worse than before he left. Humans and creatures hunting other humans and severing their organs and body parts to stitch into someone else for a profit. Welcome to this carnival of mutilation.

Evolving from both the neofolk and stoner metal elements of the prior two albums, »Chapter III: Season Of The Spine« moves back and forth from neofolk to metal with heavy orchestral sections throughout.
