Madrid, Spain based doom/sludge/hardcore trio Voul presents their second full-length album, »Fear«, which was released on February 17th, 2025 in collaboration with the labels Muerte Matar Records, Hecatombe Records, Obessed Records, Talaia Records and Global Help Records.

“Latest album of this heavy power trio from Madrid, where going through raw, slow and dark passages to more mid tempo songs, with very heavy riffs. Includes a Black Flag cover of »In My Head«.”

Formed in 2020, just after the pandemic situation, this power trio from Spain started to play very heavy riffs with groovy flow.

With members of Moho, Looking For My Answer and Adrift, these three old friends made shape to this new noisy adventure. After the first release the guitarist left the band and a new old friend join the trip.

You can find in Voul influence from 80’s hardcore punk, like Bad Brains, Black Flag or Dead Kennedys, through more dark metallic sounds from Celtic Frost, Amebix, or even the classics of death metal like Obituary, Autopsy, of course the masters of sludge EyeHateGod, Iron Monkey, Unsane, classics like Black Sabbath… or just the noisy experimentation or the use of a jazzy flow.
