»Ashes Of Certainty« is a perfect example of how an Insonika song is formed. Oscar came in with a riff that became the chorus, him and Sebastian wrote the verse riff and then we all jammed it in the rehearsal space. After that came the intro and as a spur of the moment thing Oscar came up with the clean part and with that the heavy part in the end.

This song means a whole lot to all of us, it’s the first song with this new line up where all of us got to go crazy inspirationally, and lyrically it’s about life and all of it’s twists and turns. What mark will we leave when we go? No one knows.
