Tunisian experimental extreme music one-man band Caged Bastard drops new EP »Gaze Into The Void Of Madness«

Bizerte, Tunisia based noise/sludge/black metal one-man band Caged Bastard is back with new EP, »Gaze Into The Void Of Madness«, which was just released today, June 23rd, 2025.
Lyrics, artwork, all music written, performed, mixed & mastered by Muhammad Oun.
Biography:
Caged Bastard is the uncompromising solo project of multi-national musician Muhammad Oun. Through a visceral mix of black metal, drone, ambient, and noise, the project explores the outer edges of sonic intensity and psychological dissection. Entirely self-produced, Caged Bastard is more than a musical endeavor, it’s a radical statement of artistic autonomy and a violent rejection of the sanitized, trend-driven music industry. The result is a deeply personal and confrontational sound that defies genre and expectation.
Gaze Into The Void Of Madness:
A 20-minute descent into inherited madness, coded obedience, and the illusion of free will. This one-track EP stands as a ritual of observation, Of those who walk pre-written paths with inherited gestures and borrowed voices. Every breath, every movement, echoes scripts carved in ancestral silence.

Written, performed, and produced in complete mental and spiritual isolation, this piece was born from alienation, from a refusal to merge with the collective trance. It is not a cry for belonging. It is a lens. A gaze.
This EP explores the generational loops people remain bound to, the obedience to toxic cycles inherited from parents and ancestors. It questions why many choose the comfort of repetition over the painful path of healing, silence, and breaking the ties. An experimental blend of extreme music, ambient dread, and sonic decay, this release is both a meditation and an exorcism, dissecting the theater of inherited identity.
