Lawrence, Kansas based cosmic doom metal collective They Watch Us From The Moon will release a graphic novel »Cosmic Chronicles, Act 1: The Ascension«, a companion piece to their debut album with the same name, out on May 12th, 2023 via New Heavy Sounds.

Out of this world adventurers They Watch Us From The Moon are preparing to present their first graphic novel, »Cosmic Chronicles, Act 1: The Ascension«. The new offering is a companion piece the full-length album of the same title released in May of this year via New Heavy Sounds. The graphic novel will be released on October 31st, 2023.
The band comments: “This graphic novel is the origin story of the adventure known as They Watch Us From The Moon! It is the companion piece to our album »Cosmic Chronicles, Act 1: The Ascension«. It explores a science fiction universe that takes the participant on a journey through a dangerous cosmos. With elements of current alien and UFO hysteria and wild stories of secret space programs and Planet X, and how an alien abduction lands a band in outer space.”
