Michigan-based doom and stoner metal band Grave Next Door has just released their latest single, »Blood Moon Hymn«, from the highly anticipated second full-length album, »Sorry No Candy«. This powerful track is now available for streaming, heightening the excitement for the upcoming album.

Fans of heavy, gritty sounds can look forward to a series of releases leading up to the album drop, with audio and video content rolling out every week. Mark your calendars for the significant date of October 16, 2024, when »Sorry No Candy« will be available for pre-sale exclusively via Black Doomba Records’ Bandcamp.

Grave Next Door combines the doom-laden grooves of bands like Cream, Weedeater, and Melvins to craft a sonic experience that’s as heavy as it is mesmerizing. Formed in 2018 by brothers Patrick and Anthony Salerno, the band brings a wealth of life experiences to their music, including Patrick’s time as a bounty hunter and deep-sea diver, alongside Anthony’s foreboding guitar riffs and haunting vocals. Their palpable chemistry delivers hard-hitting tracks that explore dark themes of mortality, addiction, and war.

The band gained an online following with their 2019 single »As Heavy As Texas«, which was later remastered and re-released by Black Doomba Records in 2023. Since then, Grave Next Door has established themselves as a fixture in the underground doom scene, performing at notable festivals such as Maryland Doom Fest, Tennessee Metal Devastation Festival, and Kraken Doom Fest.

Their debut album, »Sanctified Heathen«, released in March 2022, showcased their raw talent and thematic depth. Now, with »Sorry No Candy«, the band is set to take their sound to the next level. Recorded at Black Doomba Studio in Atlanta and produced by Tommy Stewart (known for his work with Hallows Eve and as the owner of Black Doomba Records), the album promises to cement Grave Next Door’s place in the doom and stoner metal pantheon. The album title is inspired by a sign outside the studio that humorously directed trick-or-treaters during Halloween week 2023, stating, “Sorry No Candy.”

Stay tuned for more weekly releases and exclusive content as Grave Next Door prepares to unleash »Sorry No Candy« on the world.
