“It’s here! Stream it, download it, jam it!
In 2018, we threw in the towel. We were spinning our wheels, playing the same gigs to the same people and mulling on the same old riffs with little inspiration. However, we were sitting on a handful of solid unreleased tunes. We decided that we owed ourselves and our friends the opportunity to preserve these tried and true originals on record. Some date from the inception of the band (»All Hail The Minotaur«) to the waning days (»Shotgun Love«), yet all capture the vibe and energy of what we put out there: positive, fun, heartfelt, raw rock.
We wasted no time in recording the drums with Jeff in 2019. Over the next 3 years, in between the birth of my two sons, I managed to chip away (literally an hour here an hour there) at guitars and vocals on my own in my basement. Lastly, due to unforeseen circumstances, our beloved “Beast on Bass” R. Herm Staving was not able to contribute to the recording. I had to dust off my old Fender J-bass and (modestly and humbly) record my own bass lines. The silver lining is that we were able to capture and include 2 live tracks which feature Herm in prime form!
In all, we are very proud of this release and glad to finally get to share it with everyone. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
Peace and love, peace and love!”
In the dark catacombs of Brighton, an entity began to coagulate, formed of the elements: pain and laughter, cigarettes and booze, and cold north winds. A sound unfurled: a sour mash of rock, metal and blues, tinged with dirt and reeking of sin. A trinity arose from the smoke: One with ax, one with heavy bottom, and one with taut skins. All begat one to form a trio the likes of which had never been seen. It called itself the Rule Of Two…
