US heavy rockers Sons Of Gulliver release cover of Kiss’s »Love Gun« feat. LG Valeta (The Hellacopters, ’77)

Dallas, Texas based hard rock/stoner rock duo Sons Of Gulliver has released a cover of Kiss classic »Love Gun« featuring guitarist LG Valeta of The Hellacopters and ’77.

As 2025 winds down and the Sons Of Gulliver boys prepare for a busy 2026, they’re kicking things off with a surprise release of Kiss’s »Love Gun«!

Says the band: “In honor of the late great Ace, we decided to do our own rendition of our favorite Kiss tune »Love Gun«! Featuring our good friend LG Valeta, guitarist for bands such as ’77 and The Hellacopters! This was a fun one to do, and we hope yall dig it. It should be a good appetizer for what’s to come in ’26. What better way to close out the year than getting a new SoG tune?”

The Kiss classic gets the proper SoG treatment, cranking the distortion and low end up to 11 with Justin’s signature flying V bass and Dolphin’s hard-hitting, infamously kit-wrecking drumming. LG Valeta puts his own signature mark on the tune with a face-melting guitar solo, showing off his chops with some first-class shredding.

What’s next in 2026:

Hot off the heels of a jam-packed year, 2025 saw Sons Of Gulliver tour the South with Red Beard Wall, play with Bongzilla and Kal-El, open up Ripplefest Texas, and be crowned the champions of the Texas Viking Festival’s Battle of the Bands.

With eyes on the road ahead, SoG will be hitting the road again across the States and plan to release their first full-length in 2026.
