New England psychedelic dark sludge band November Fire has returned with »Doom Blues«, their second single and the title track from their upcoming album »Doom Blues«, coming in the Fall of 2026. Recorded and produced by the band in DIY fashion, November Fire continues its galactic adventure through the “Fireverse,” where powerful beings vie for the title of “Greatest Doom Planet in the Universe!”

“The riff was a bit different than the rest of the album, so I thought I would go with something a little more lighthearted and very colorful,” says bassist and lyricist Terry Aubie. “For some reason, the name Jack Kirby instantly popped in my mind, so I started with the idea of a galactic adventure with fantastical beings and elemental planets. Most of the lyrics poured out of me in one quick session.”

“The song is slow as molasses, and molasses has killed before, so be careful,” adds drummer Jim Kelley.

November Fire’s »Doom Blues« will be available on digital platforms on August 5, including Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and more. The full »Doom Blues« album, featuring six epic new tracks, will be available this Fall.

November Fire is:
Terry Aubie – Bass, Vocals
Dave Hubai – Guitars
Jim Kelley – Drums
