Denver, Colorado based psychedelic stoner/doom rock trio Burning Sister has released a music video for the song »Barbiturate Lizard« taken from their new EP, »Get Your Head Right«, out on October 4th, 2023.

»Get Your Head Right« was tracked, mixed, and mastered by Austin at All Aces Studios.

It’s been an amazing journey over the past three years, watching the band slowly evolve and refine their sound. The difference in both sound and confidence between 2020’s Burning Sister EP and today’s »Get Your Head Right« is immediately apparent to anyone who pays attention to the music they listen to.

While the band still have the same core heart and essence, their sound has become grittier, noisier and more fuzz-laden than ever before. While noise rock has always been an influence on the band’s music, it has become more noticibly prominent in the mix. That isn’t to say that this evolution comes at the expense of fuzz or groove, as both are still very much present.

So take some time, take what you need to be in the right state of mind and then blow your eardrums with Burning Sister’s »Get Your Head Right«!
